Heftschweißungen (unterbrochene Schweißnähte) sind ohne Endkrater und Absatzporen auszuführen. Heftstellen sind so auszuführen das sie beim späteren Überschweißen keine Qualitätsminderung darstellen, bei qualitativ sehr hohen Anforderungen (Röntgen-nähten) sind die Heftstellen zu entfernen.
