upon reading again, I think what is meant here is *her*angezogen, not angezogen, in the meaning of 'applied', as above.

Just realized my answer is based on the participle form as it appears in the example sentences and not in the asked form. My bad! The infinitives are, of course, to be precise: raise/increase/apply.
