The monitoring program displays the pressure difference (pressure before & behind the pump). When the pressure before the pump decreases, the pressure difference increases. During the diastolic phase the pressure before the pump decreases and therefor the pressure difference increases. In the graphic display you see the socalled diastolic plateau. The Diastolenniveau describes the mean value of some diastolic plateaus.
