Помогите, пожалуйста, перевести "work of the intellect".
Контекст: The protection is granted to any work of the intellect, irrespective of type, form
of expression, merit or purpose, under the sole condition that the work be original.
The need for originality does not imply a requirement for innovation, or the
creation of something which did not exist beforehand, as French law protects the
creator, rather than his creation. The author is granted a specific form of
protection for all his intellectual work, irrespective of the genre, the expressive
form, the merit, or the destination.
