Hi, The following term, "På basis af det seneste fællesregnskab for ejendommen bør jeres aconto bidrag justeres" has been translated into English as "Based on the latest joint accounts for the property, your on account contributions have to be adjusted as follows:".
I don't understand what is meant by "on account". Is there a better translation for that term?

The translation is correct I believe (see link). "On account" means that you pay a fixed amount every month. The amount equals a "best guess" of the actual amount for e.g. heating, water supply etc. for the next period (year). After one year the actual amount is compared to the paid amount and the difference paid.
