The term repack in the context of a bearing means to renew the lubrication (grease). This is done on an existing bearing periodically. Some bearings are delivered pre-lubricated and sealed and cannot be relubricated. The other type of bearing to which your term applies is delivered dry and must be lubricated (greased) when fitted.
