: Nebo i Informační kancelář, či Informační bod. V místě mého bydliště je toto informační centrum shodou okolností umístěné v knihovně, kde sídlí samostatný pracovník. Jeho služby jsou určené návštěvníkům města, ale i na propagaci regionu atd.

informační středisko
Očividně nejde o rodilou angličtinu, takže rozhoduje poskytnutý popis. Někde tak ale označují cestovní kanceláře.
"Středisko" a "centrum" jsou prašť jako uhoď a použití toho prvního je v tomto spojení evidentně dnes častější, takže můj návrh je hlavně pro češtinářské puristy...

I believe that the word "tourist" has to appear there - since "informační centrum" can be even Informační centrum o Evropské unii (EU Information centre)...
