"An allowance in the cash flows of an income-producing property to acknowledge letting periods to bring the premises to its optimum occupancy level. Under the traditional capitalised income approach, a capital amount is deducted in respect of the existing or pending vacancies to reflect the Present Value of the loss of income until fully let. See also Leasing-Up Costs; Leasing-Up Period."
