Най-простичкият и разбираем за възпитаните в българската образователна система превод, според мен, би бил С ОТЛИЧИЕ.

Honours Standing се присъжда на зрелостника, ако завърши със среден успех (Grade Point Average, GPA) над 3 (т.е. ако е имал(а) оценка над B или над 3 при 4-бална система по поне 52 или 63 кредита, сиреч изучавани предмета, дисциплини и курсове, признати за получаване на образованието), което би било равностойно на 5.50 при шестобалната система: напр. Отличен 5.66 или нещо подобно.

По-долу са приведени относително подробни и все пак кратички разяснения именно за приложението и изчисляването на тези "почести" именно в Британска Колумбия, на същото важи и навсякъде тук, в Канада, и, доколкото ни е известно, в Англия и в останалите страни на Британската общност, както и в САЩ.

Honours Standing
A graduating student with an outstanding level of achievement will have the phrase "Achievement with Honours" included on her or his transcript. In order to be eligible to receive this designation on the transcript a student must:
* satisfy provincial graduation requirements; and
* obtain a better than "B" average in the best 52 credits which satisfy Foundation Studies and Selected Studies.

Calculating Honours Standing
Letter grades will be converted to a grade point scale (A=4, B=3, C+=2.5, C=2, C-=1), and if the overall grade point average (GPA) is greater than "B" (>3.0) the student will be granted Honours Standing. GPA and Honours Standing will be based on the highest grades of all credits contributing to completion of the provincial graduation requirements.
A student must have at least 28 credits with percentages and letter grades to receive a GPA and Honours Standing.

On graduation, honours standing will be granted to those students who have averaged 'A-' or higher in the best 62 credits of courses, which are selected by the program concentration, and which meet the requirements of third and fourth years.
