Alternative: Urquell (original Pilsner beer)

Prazdroj is the trade name for the most famous beer from Plzen (Pilsen). In Czech it means literally "(the) original (or ancient)source". It's also known in German as Urquell - which has precisely the same meaning. Pilsner Urquell is a trademark, same as Prazdroj.

agree Robert M Maier : - encountered it under that name in various non-Czech, non-German speaking places (in Britain, o.k.)

neutral Zenny Sadlon : "Urquell" is the German for "prazdroj", i.e. "old/original source".
