"Peněžní jistota" alebo ... iba "jistota ve výši XXX tis. Kč"? Podľa mňa je medzi dvoma rozdiel.

neutral Zdeněk Hartmann : Does cash fall within the meaning of "collateral"? In my experience, collateralls are mostly "things", or rather "property". But then, my experience is very limited.

This phrase occurs in legislation in the Czech Republic in the field of
public procurement under EU rules. In the given context, this appears to be large-scale works relating to flood prevention measures. This sum
is deposited in the customer's ban account to ensure performance by the tenderer whose bid is accepted. See below.


The sealed quotation bidder who receives the notice referred

jistota = kauce. A "kauci" je podle mě rozumné překládat jako "deposit", i když existují i jiné možnosti. Kolokace je, pokud vím, "pay a deposit".
Případně lze i obecněji jako "security", ale stejně bych dal spíš "deposit".
