This hard, sparkly, greyish material was used on home exteriors in the '70s and '80s. I can't find an English equivalent for it.

Brizolit
It's a patented artificial stone and a corresponding exterior/interior plaster. The trade name (Břízolit) comes from the town of Horní Bříza (North of Pilsen)--it's manufactured there.

rough cast, rough casting, plaster
"Brizolit" is a type of rough outer wall cover, used traditionally for brick houses in the Czech Republic. The more general Czech term for this type of material is "omitka". Since "brizolit" is a rougher kind of plaster cover, I would agree with Dominika that the term "rough cast" or "rough casting" is more appropriate than "plaster".

It is the top external rendering with mice. It can be either combed or sprayed - brizolit is the trade name of the plastery mix. Known from practice.

It is applied either by spraying or normal manual manner (in this case it can be later either combed or scratched - therefore it can have rough surface). It has white or rather greyish colour with glittering tiny pieces of mice.
