German term

Gewinnleistungen zu erfüllen

German to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Teilnahmebedingungen (Gewinnspiel)

prize/winnings fulfillment

Peer comment(s):

agree Birgit Gläser : maybe even prize distribution fulfillment, but definitely fulfillment over formalities

Thank you @Birgit
agree Adrian MM. : doesn't exactly roll of the tongue, but I agree with Birgit G. about the next muddled answers https://competitionagency.com/promotional-prize-sourcing-acq...

disagree Andrew Bramhall : What,the sense of fulfillment that winning brings to the winner? two very skewed and misguided agrees above for me;/Naah, no need; but Birgit could certainly do with looking up the meaning of 'formalities', and AMM's spurious agree merely tactical;

perhaps you should look up the meanings of fulfillment ;)
neutral AllegroTrans : much too literal

agree Michael Martin, MA : Here's another misguided agree. "Winner's personal data may be retained longer for prize fulfillment purposes

Prize-win formalities

i.e.t comply with the formalities surrounding prize wins;
Peer comment(s):

neutral AllegroTrans : too "clipped"

pay out winnings

The German repeats 'Gewinn'. To avoid this, you could translate 'Rückfragen zu den Gewinnen zu beantworten oder die Gewinnleistungen zu erfüllen' as 'pay out winnings, or answer questions about them'.

I've reversed the order of the two items because I think it's more logical.
Peer comment(s):

disagree AllegroTrans : "Requirements" and "to fulfill" are in this text and you've completely ignored both and have arrived at sometjing entirely different
4 hrs
You fulfill the payment requirements by making the payments. It's not 'something entirely different'.
disagree Adrian MM. : > though having a mind of my own, I agree with AT.

neutral Arne Krueger : I tend to agree, if the winning is of monetary nature. If not, you need to rephrase it since Leistung or Sache cannot be paid out.

I think Gewinnspiel usually implies prize draw or lottery. But yes, it would be helpful to know what the prize is.

to comply with the winning (terms and) conditions

My interpretation

In other words: it's a condition of winning that you allow us to keep your personal data for a longer period
Peer comment(s):

neutral Björn Vrooman : Am confused: How do you arrive at this interpretation? Who's supposed to comply with them? Admittedly, the German is (really) bad, but this is a direct reference to "Leistungserfüllung" as per § 362 BGB Cf. https://www.juraforum.de/lexikon/erfuellung

I think it implies (circuitally) that the winner's data can be retained for a longer period of time
neutral philgoddard : I agree with Björn. This is also ambiguous - it could mean 'the conditions that win'.
