Hi All, thanks to Bourth and Uyuni, it was a transport company so your suggestions were correct I think. However, I didn't get them in time, so i went with Phil's suggestion and just left it out as it wasn't vital to the article.

In case it is a transport company one might just translate 'lenken' literally. If not, it could as well mean sth. like 'Führungsebene/Steuerungsebene'.

I fail to see how onboarding at management level would reduce employee turnover. But if one driver supports another ...

I don't think it means 'management area'. I think the idea may be 'mentorship', and it's just another way of saying 'buddy system', perhaps for readers who don't know what 'buddy' means.

You could omit it and say something like 'roll out a buddy scheme as part of the onboarding process'.
