Spanish term

reclamar a la otra parte

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Financial Intermediary Agreement
Financial Intermediary Agreement (Colombia)

I wanted to double check if this means "make a claim against the other party" or "file a claim against the other party".

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

"Cada parte reconoce que no tendrá derecho a reclamar a la otra parte en relación con cualquier manifestación o garantía... que no hay sido incorporada a este Acuerdo."

make/file/bring a claim against the other party

These all mean the same thing. Or you could just say 'Neither party may claim'.

to claim against the other side

The mechanics of the claim, whether informally by word of mouth or formally by suing, are neither here nor there. Let's not overthink this one with scattergun answers.
Example sentence:

Not only are you obligated to inform your insurance company of the accident, but they may be able to help defend you in the claims against the other side.

neutral philgoddard : I'm getting tired of your calling people 'scattergun' and 'indecisive'. One reason why we suggest more than one translation is because you keep posting answers that are virtually identical to other people's.

neutral AllegroTrans : How is this an improvement on the first answer? And why substitute the casual word "side" for "party"? This is a formal document and it requires formal terms. Try agreeing with Phil's answer, just for once, it might even make you happy...

neutral Toni Castano : Have to agree with the two previous criticisms, Adrian. Please think about it.
