لا يوجد مقابل لنفس الوظيفة فى اللغة الإنجليزية حيث أن المقدم الحضرى يشبه إلى حد كبير شيخ البلد فى مصر ف من الممكن على حسب السياق استخدام كلمات ذات صله مثل police representative/ police reporter
