I am currently translating Mexican datasheets regarding products used for animal consumption and have come across the above in a table regarding the properties of a type of mineral oil.

It features under the heading "Metodo de Referencia".

Any assistance confirming whether this is a translatable acronym, or whether it can be left as is would be much appreciated.
