Italian term

eteroaccusatorie

Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general) Criminal Law
This is from a legal document explaining some investigations that were carried out by the police with regards to the accused. In explaining the evidence they explain that there are three types of telephone interceptions (wiretapped telephone conversations):

I need help in translating "eteroaccusatorie"

Italian:
le intercettazioni totalmente auto-accusatorie, le intercettazioni parzialmente auto-accusatorie e le intercettazioni totalmente etero-accusatorie.

English: (my attempt)
completely self-accusatory interceptions, partially self-accusatory interceptions, and completely hetero-accusatory interceptions (or accusing others?)

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance,
Alice
Proposed translations (English)
4 +2 incriminating third parties

As you imply, the prefix hetero- means other. It sounds like "accusatorio" may be "incriminating", or at least "potentially incriminating".

incriminating third parties

As opposed to self-incriminating
