There is a school of thought and court practice to the effect that post-judgment interest is not recoverable pursuant to A.395 where the underlying obligation is contractual rather than tortious. However, recent decisions of the arbitrazh courts suggest that interest is recoverable even where the underlying obligation is contractual. But the position has not yet been resolved definitively one way or the other.
