Spanish term
reclamación, alegación, queja o demanda...
Spanish to English
Law/Patents
Insurance
Context: a Lloyd's Insurance Policy
Sentence: ....si el Asegurado sufriera cualquier reclamación que pudiera estar cubierta bajo esta póliza, o se diera a entender cualquier alegación, queja, o demanda contra el mismo, ya sea verbal o por escrito....
Attempted answer: Normally I would always translate "reclamación y demanda" as "claim and complaint", but this sentence has thrown in queja which would also be complaint... So if I leave reclamación as claim, could I translate the other three as: allegation, complaint or suit
Thanks for any help!

reclamación is the claim that may be covered (in clauses), the other three are possibilities that may arise in insurance and have to be substantiated.

: It's basically four different ways of saying the same thing.

true, but "claim" is the most straightforward term for insurers. Allegations and complaints require proof of liability, while suit implies challenge of a claim for liability (wherein settlement may or may not take another form; e.g., legal expenses).
