Modality (Unit Working modality, offline modality, on-line modality, Stand Alone Modality)?

Each recipe is composed by a sequence of operation; each operation is composed by a phase, the modality for the phase execution and the parameters to be passed as input when executing that Phase.

Devices can work in Automatic mode, if they are managed automatically from the PLC Program or in Manual mode, if their state is forced by the operator. In order to set the Manual working mode for a device it is
necessary that the Unit Working modality is set to ‘Manual Enabled’.

By pressing this button the Supervisory Environment is closed and the Panel is turned into offline modality, in
order to perform maintenance operations.

ON-LINE MODALITY - In this modality vessels are connected to a Docking Station and all commands come from the Docking Station OP. From the local Panel it is only possible to navigate, while all commands are inactive.

STAND ALONE MODALITY - In this modality vessels MPI plugs are not connected to a Docking Station and operators are allowed to command the bottom valve, set the velocity of the tank agitator, the homogenizer and the buffer agitator and command them through the command buttons.
