Law: Contract(s)

It is tantamount to an "escape clause" but is used throughout the contract as a term (in both sing. and plural). Help appreciated. Context (defining Article): Todo hecho o acto imprevisible y ajenos a la voluntad y actuación de las Partes, surjan con posterioridad a la entrada en vigencia del presente Contrato, considerados como caso fortuito o fuerza mayor, como por ejemplo enunciativo mas no limitativo: las guerras o las situaciones similares, las insurrecciones, ......

Liability exclusions (exemptions, releases, exceptions)
Cualquiera de estas frases es lo suficientemente 'global' como para servirte de marco: liability exceptions, liability dispensations, liability releases. Exemptions es el que menos me gusta porque puede confundirse en los EEUU con algo que tenga que ver con los impuestos. Mis favoritos son exclusions y exceptions.

Note from asker:
Thank you, Angel. I understand the meaning and can create innumerable denotative phrases to cover it, but am hoping to find a 'neat', 2-word equivalent (if such exists!) since this is used in myriad contexts and phrasings in the contract. |
