Životopis

I am a freelance translator from Czech and Slovak into English. I was born in Czechoslovakia but grew up in Canada; this means I can offer you perfect translation into English from either of my source languages.

After graduating from the University of Alberta with a degree in Electrical Engineering, I worked as a telecom engineer for 11 years, then concurrently as a freelance database developer and photographer until 2005, whereupon I started working as a full-time freelance translator.

I specialize in technical and scientific translations, and have done a lot of legislation translation for the European Commission, as well as arts-related and myriad other subject matter for various clients.
