Albanian to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / instrument
Albanian term or phrase: gasimetër
From an Albanian professional high school certificate:
Realizon matjen e izolimeve të paisjeve elektrike me gasimetër

I don't understand gasimetër in this context. According to the web, a gasimeter is a device that warns against flammable gases. How could it be used for measuring isolation?

This, evidently, is more of a technical problem than a linguistic. If I am very lucky, somebody has come across a similar certificate and solved the problem.

I've been thinking of a typo, but the handwriting is quite clear. Only the "s" character in gasimetër could be a mistake.

gas meter!!!

Explanation:
the context in this case is too little to help in any way but i wouldn't use the term GAS METER as in English it mostly suggests a device for measuring the flow of flammable (or any other type of ) gas. I guess the idea here is that of a device for measuring vacuum and/or isolation of a closed electric equipment.

more context, if available, would be helpful.
